Rosemary on the streets; being awoken abruptly at 6.30am by cannons and car horns scaring all the animals in the house throughout the day; I am fully aware that May is here. Mind you I am not complaining,  the town smelt lovely and we stocked up on a very useful herb. We have just returned from a short trip to England and what a great way to come back to the craziness of Southern Spain. I love the fact that they really know how to enjoy and embrace their festivals and traditions and how sad it is that so many have been allowed to die in Britain. I love the May Day festival. There were so many people in the streets of Alhaurin this year - we stayed in the Church square long into the night and saw lots of people we know. The kids had a field day and the abundance of sweets left them running around with their friends for hours. Thanks to ACE Fm for their help and support, hoped you liked the interview.
